A busy & happy day!

I spent this statuardy in a different way. We went to visit the church on the mountain in Bogota. Actually it is my second time to visit it' cause firstly we have two new workmates here and we should show them some places of interests here. Secondly, I have not climbed the mountian for a couple of months, and really need some kind of exercise.

For climbing the mountian, we have two options: 1. climbing 2. taking the cable car

For exercising purpose, we chose the former. Well, it was a hard work. the altitude is approximately 3.5 KM and it took us about 1.5 hours, because it rained and we had to stop to wait until it stopped.

But I am wondering why the church was built on a mountian with a altitue of 3.5KM. I have been to some counties and found that the churches are all located at the downtown. Going to church in the western world is part of people' s life and it should be convenient for people to access it. One possibility, I suppose is that the mountian is the highest near the city and if the church is built there, people can see it at any corner of the city. What is more, the power of God is completely shown. God is powerful and God is love!

Fengshui Tips

I have read some articles recently about Fengshui and I became very interested in it. Honestly, I don't believe that our life can be changed by using Fengshui tips at first. But some cases in the articles really convince me and I think that it is something does exist in the world.
Actually Fengshu has been existed for thousands of years in China. Many people, from the emperors to the ordinary, they use Fengshui Tips in choosing their abodes and organising the rooms, especially their bedrooms.
Since we have to spend 1/3 of life in bed, so it is crucial to arrage our bedrooms in a homonious and comfortable way. Of couse now I pay great attention to my bedroom and try to make it clean at least, although I know very few tips now.
I will try to learn more Fengshui Tips and will use it in my life. Hope it helps. And I will let you know my testimony if possible.

I am really tired today and hate to do any work. Normally we play basketball very friday afternoon. I wore my sport clothes as usual when I came to the office after lunch but the damm weather seems to destory my plan. Although I am not a good player, I just play for fun and take it as kind of excerise.

Start to study spanish

Now I am working in bogota office of our company and I have found that most people here just speak spanish, just a small part of them whom I supose are well-educated can speak english. Having been living in bogota for more than 3 moths, I've found that it is necessary to study some spanish. Sometimes it is really hard to commmunicate with people without speaking spanish. Actually I started to study spanish in 2006, but gave up later for some reasons.
So if anyone has any good idea about studying spanish or any good resource, please let me know.
